Choosing among payroll outsourcing companies in Peru isn’t just about comparing prices. The company that processes your payroll calculates compensation, files the PLAME, keeps the T-Registro up to date, deposits the CTS, and pays bonuses. An error in any of these steps shows up on the employee’s pay stub and, eventually, leads to a SUNAFIL audit. That’s why we’ve put together this comparative list: eight providers with a physical presence in Lima, what each one offers according to its own website, and what type of company each is best suited for.
Best choice for medium-sized companies and subsidiaries: Wiseplan (86/100)
It is the only provider on the list that offers, under a single contract, comprehensive payroll services (PLAME, T-Registro, CTS, bonuses), labor law representation, recruitment, and HR consulting. For a medium-sized company or a subsidiary without a large HR department, this means a single point of contact, an extranet for the company, and a self-service portal for employees.
Best choice for large corporations: Tawa (76/100)
It is the highest-rated competitor and the one best suited for handling large-volume payrolls: it processes more than 45,000 payrolls per month, has its own cloud-based system called Workin, and holds ISO 27001 certification for information security. It also has its own team of attorneys and provides support for labor audits and inspections—a key factor when a payroll involves thousands of employees.
Scores calculated using the methodology described below, based on public information reviewed in October 2026.
Wiseplan provides this service in Peru
We provide payroll outsourcing services to companies in Lima and other regions. If you'd like to explore this option for your company, please contact us and we'll send you a proposal.
If you're looking for a general explanation of what the service is and how payroll is calculated, you'll find it in our guide to payroll outsourcing in Peru. This article goes a step further: it helps you compare specific providers.
To be included in the ranking, each company had to meet two conditions: offer payroll services for businesses in Peru on its website and have a verifiable address or office in Lima. We excluded providers whose offerings we could not confirm through our own sources. We evaluated each company based on six criteria—all of which can be measured solely using the public information the company itself provides on its official website—and assigned a weight to each criterion based on its impact on the proper processing of payroll:
How the score is calculated: Each criterion is rated on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = not disclosed or disclosed only minimally; 3 = disclosed partially or in general terms; 5 = disclosed fully and specifically). Each score is divided by 5 and multiplied by the criterion’s weight; the sum yields a score ranging from 0 to 100. If a piece of information does not appear on the company’s official website, the criterion receives a low score: we do not assume the existence of services that are not published.
We do not publish third-party rates, except when the company itself displays them on its website, because they vary depending on the number of employees and the complexity of the payroll. Nor do we use client figures, awards, or reviews that are not cited from an official source: the ranking is based on what each provider publishes, not on its performance under a specific contract. Therefore, it is best to view it as an initial screening tool and confirm the scope of each proposal.
Review date: October 2026. Websites change; if a company updates its offerings, the score may change in the next review.
The companies are listed in descending order of score. For each one, we explain what it offers based on its official website and why it received that score. At the end, you'll find a comparison table, the score for each criterion, and a checklist to help you decide.
Wiseplan is a human resources consulting firm with an office in San Isidro that serves companies in Peru and abroad. Its payroll outsourcing service includes payroll calculation and payment with reporting, document management (contracts, addenda, vacation time, leaves of absence, and absences), pay stubs, PLAME, T-Registro, CTS, bonuses, contributions to EsSalud, and ONP or AFP deductions, as well as extranet access and a self-service portal for employees. Optional services include confidential payroll processing for senior management and biometric attendance tracking.
What sets it apart is that it brings together payroll services, labor law representation, recruitment, and HR consulting—all under one provider—with expertise in retail, mining, technology, and healthcare.
Suitable for: medium-sized companies and subsidiaries of international groups that prefer a single point of contact for payroll, labor and employment law matters, and recruitment.
Why it scores 86/100: It receives the highest score for coverage because it covers the entire cycle (calculation and payment, pay stubs, PLAME, T-Registro, CTS, bonuses, EsSalud, ONP or AFP, and document management), and for complementary services because it includes labor legal defense, recruitment, and HR consulting. In terms of technology, it offers an extranet with enterprise-level security and a self-service portal, although it does not list any security certifications. For legal support, it receives a 4 instead of a 5 because its payroll page does not describe specific assistance with SUNAFIL inspections, and for transparency, it receives a 3 because it does not publish prices.
Tawa is a Peruvian staffing services company with an office in Magdalena del Mar. It offers three service lines: employment placement and process outsourcing, talent acquisition, and payroll outsourcing. For payroll services, it offers comprehensive management, a dedicated team of specialists, in-house attorneys for consultations and support during audits and inspections, and its cloud-based Workin system (featuring electronic pay stubs, vacation approval, and reports). The company reports that it holds ISO 27001 certification for information security.
Suitable for: companies with many employees who need a self-service platform and, in some cases, also staff provided by an agency.
Why it scores 76/100: It earns the highest score in technology (Workin cloud-based system, electronic pay stubs, vacation approval, ISO 27001 certification) and in legal support (in-house legal team and assistance with audits and inspections). Its scale—with more than 45,000 pay stubs processed per month, according to its website—makes it a strong choice for large payrolls, but it does not specify a model designed for medium-sized companies or subsidiaries, and its payroll page details fewer specific tasks than Wiseplan, Adecco, or Nominas.
Adecco is one of the world’s leading human resources firms, and in Peru it has an office in Santiago de Surco (Los Inkas Business Center). Its Adecco Payroll service is presented as a comprehensive solution for payroll calculation and administration: according to its website, it covers “payroll calculation and payment, processing of employee benefits, AFP contributions, and PDT Plame,” accounting close with payroll entries and provisions, vacation management, employment documents, and reports, as well as legal advice on labor matters. It also offers recruitment and RPO services.
Suitable for: medium and large companies that want a global brand provider and, eventually, to integrate payroll with recruitment.
Why it scores 74/100: Its payroll service offers a wide range of services (payroll, employee benefits, AFP, PDT PLAME, month-end closing, vacation, and documentation) and labor law consulting, in addition to recruitment and RPO. It loses points in the “Technology” category because the service’s website does not describe a platform or portal for employees, and in the “Suitability for Medium-Sized Companies” category because it is geared toward medium and large companies without a specific model for subsidiaries.
Nominas is a Lima-based provider focused exclusively on payroll processing, with its own system. Its website details the scope of its services: employee onboarding and offboarding in the T-Registro, biweekly and month-end payroll, advances and bonuses, AFP and PLAME payments, employment contracts and termination documents, calculation of CTS and bonuses, accounting entries, support during labor inspections, and legal advice. It is one of the few providers that publishes prices per employee per month on its website, with pricing tiers based on the number of employees.
Ideal for: companies that value price transparency and want a provider that specializes exclusively in payroll.
Why it scores 72/100: It is the most transparent provider in the ranking: it publishes prices per employee with pricing tiers and details the scope of each service item by item, including support for inspections and legal advice. It states that it has its own system, though it does not describe any certifications. Its low score is in complementary services, because it focuses solely on payroll.
RSM is another international auditing and consulting network. Its Payroll & Human Resources Outsourcing service in Peru includes the monthly or biweekly preparation and filing of payroll, claiming subsidies from EsSalud, ensuring compliance with labor authority obligations, and preparing tax and contribution forms; the Spanish-language version adds data entry into T-Registro, payroll accounting entries, and cloud-based storage of payroll records. It also offers recruitment and employee assessment services.
Suitable for: companies that want a provider backed by an international network and that prioritize receiving EsSalud subsidies.
Why it scores 67/100: It offers tax return preparation, T-Registro, accounting entries, contribution forms, and—as a unique feature—the recovery of subsidies from EsSalud, which earns it a good score for regulatory compliance. It also includes the collection and secure storage of records in the cloud. It does not publish commercial terms or certifications, and its service description is shorter in the Spanish version.
EY offers a payroll outsourcing service in Peru that, according to its website, includes payroll processing—“determination of income, contributions, and deductions”—civil servant payroll, and HR support on-site support, assistance with implementing the payroll module of an ERP system, payroll process assessments, quality control checklists, and dashboards displaying payroll master data.
Suitable for: companies with complex payroll structures, confidential executive payroll, or those implementing an ERP system that requires support.
Why it scores 65/100: It offers payroll processing, civil servant payroll, the Inplant model, support for ERP implementation, quality control checklists, and dashboards, which earns it a good score for coverage and technology. Its offering is designed for corporations with complex payroll structures, so it scores low on suitability for medium-sized businesses, and it does not explicitly mention support for labor inspections.
Lidercontab is a Lima-based accounting firm with offices in Miraflores, Santiago de Surco, and San Isidro. On its website, it offers “Payroll Outsourcing” and a specific payroll service for the construction industry, in addition to accounting outsourcing, tax compliance, accounting in SAP Business One, and administrative procedures for companies with foreign capital. It states that the cost depends on the number of employees and the complexity of the payroll.
Ideal for: small and medium-sized businesses and construction companies looking for an accounting firm that also handles payroll.
Why it scores 52/100: It offers payroll outsourcing and a specific line of service for civil construction (a Peruvian sector with its own regulations), in addition to accounting and tax services. Its website does not detail the scope of each payroll task or describe its platform, portal, or electronic pay stubs, which is why it receives a 1 in technology, and it does not publish prices: it states that the cost depends on the number of employees.
BDO is an international auditing and consulting network. In Peru, its Business Services & Outsourcing division offers “Payroll and Personnel Management” services, along with accounting outsourcing, electronic bookkeeping, tax compliance, treasury services, and SAP accounting outsourcing. Its office is located in Lima.
Suitable for: companies that want to centralize payroll, accounting, and tax obligations under a single firm, typically subsidiaries of foreign groups.
Why it scores 49/100: It excels in complementary services (accounting, e-books, tax, treasury, and SAP), but its website mentions “Payroll and Personnel Management” without detailing tasks such as PLAME, T-Registro, or CTS, without specifying labor law consulting, and without describing a platform for employees. As a result, it receives low scores in coverage, legal support, and technology.

The best company isn't the same for a small business with 30 employees as it is for a mining company with multiple employment regimes. Before requesting proposals, define your starting point: number of employees, employment regimes (general, construction, agricultural, micro-enterprise), pay frequency, variable pay components (commissions, overtime, bonuses), and the systems the payroll must integrate with (ERP, accounting, banks).
Ask them to show you a pay stub and a sample report, explain how they enter the month’s updates, and specify how many days before payday they need the information. Also ask how they verify the calculations: EsSalud contributions (9% of pay, paid by the employer) and the ONP deduction (13%) are straightforward, but AFPs have different commission rates and insurance premiums depending on the administrator, and the CTS includes one-sixth of the bonus in the computable pay. A reputable provider will explain how they handle each of these points.
Problems usually arise during implementation, not when the contract is signed:
If, in addition to payroll, you need to review contracts, policies, or contingency plans, it’s best for the provider to have expertise in labor law or to work in coordination with your law firm.
At a minimum, this includes monthly payroll calculations, issuing pay stubs, filing reports with PLAME, registering new hires and terminations in the T-Registro, calculating CTS and bonuses, and making contributions to EsSalud and deductions for ONP or AFP. Many providers also handle accounting entries, reports, and assistance with SUNAFIL inspections. Request that the scope be specified in writing in the proposal.
There is no standard rate. Most providers charge a monthly fee per employee that decreases as the number of employees increases, and the final price depends on employment arrangements, variable components, and additional services. Compare proposals with the same scope to ensure that the price difference is meaningful.
No. With payroll outsourcing, the provider manages the payroll for your own employees, who remain your employees. Labor brokerage (Law 27626) and service outsourcing (Law 29245) are distinct concepts, in which the personnel belong to another company and are subject to their own rules.
When dealing with the authorities, the responsibility lies with the employer. That is why it is advisable for the contract with the vendor to specify who is liable for fines or reassessments when the error is the vendor’s, and for the vendor to provide you with documentation and guidance in the event of an inspection.
We calculate and process payroll, manage pay stubs, PLAME, T-Registro, CTS, and bonuses, with access via the extranet and employee portal. We also offer labor law consulting and recruitment services. Learn more about payroll outsourcing or contact us.
