A Chilean company, subsidiary of a European manufacturer of nutrition and plant protection products, is seeking a professional specializing in administration and finance.
The mission of the position will be to lead and manage the company's accounting, administration, and finance areas, establish a proactive relationship with the commercial, production, and operations areas to ensure the alignment of accounting and financial objectives with the company's operations, and ensure the correct accounting of investments and production costs, as well as billing, purchase entries, and customer records for collection.
○ Preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
○ Calculation and filing of monthly and annual taxes (VAT, income tax, etc.).
○ Management of general and auxiliary accounting, including the correct accounting of investments, income, expenses, and production costs in coordination with the respective areas.
○ Bank reconciliation and control of accounts receivable and payable.
○ Supervision of the billing process and collection management.
○ Implementation and optimization of accounting processes in the ERP: Identify opportunities for improvement in current accounting processes and propose automated solutions to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
○ Budget preparation and variance analysis.
○ Treasury and cash flow management.
○ Control of operating expenses and investment projects.
○ Preparation of financial reports for general management and headquarters.
○ Management of employment contracts and labor relations.
○ Compliance with current labor legislation.
○ Coordination with external lawyers on labor and legal issues.
○ Management of company permits and licenses before regulatory bodies.
○ Administration of external service contracts (telephony, internet, etc.).
